Shopping Local: How it Affects Your Community

Locally owned businesses account for a large percentage of jobs across the nation. In fact, the largest portion of jobs in our nation are created by small, locally owned businesses. Small businesses create jobs based on not only their budget but also their growth. They also have a little more freedom with their decision making because they don’t have shareholders to answer to. They can funnel as much money as they choose back into their business, which usually equals more jobs and better guest service for the consumer.

ECG Owner Launches Black History Portrait Website

Christian Elden, principal owner of Elden Creative Group, recently launched blackhistoryportraits.com, a website cataloging his collection of hand-drawn portraits of notable figures in Black History. The images, some of which already being used for a wide range of applications such as websites, printed material, and special Black History TV spots, are available for license. Big Time Bounce Unveils New Logo

Big Time Bounce of Anderson, IN has seen tremendous growth in its short history, due in part to a strong following among local parents of small children. It’s no wonder, since BTB offers a way for Madison County’s kids to have a great time in a safe environment, no matter what the weather’s like outside.

With this growth under their belt and a bright future ahead, they thought it was the perfect time to get a new logo with looks to match.

ECG Teams Up with Randomlink Interactive

ECG was contacted by Webby Award-winning studio Randomlink Interactive to help create visuals for a web and poster series, focusing on important human rights days. Hand-drawn portraits were created, featuring Bromley Armstrong, June Veecock, Stanley Grizzle, and Zanana Akande.

ECG to Help Re-launch goto26.com Just In Time for Super Bowl XLVI

With Super Bowl XLVI coming to Indianapolis this February, the city and its surrounding areas stand to benefit a great deal from the rush of football fans streaming to their shops, hotels, restaurants & bars. So when Anderson was chosen as a Super Celebration Site, the committee from goto26.com (named for Anderson’s Exit 26 on I-69) thought re-vamping its current website would be beneficial to both the football fans and the local merchants alike.

Anderson-area pastor and nationally syndicated radio host Jim Lyon’s first book, Go Ahead. Ask Anything. is set to release nationwide June 21, and Elden Creative Group was tasked with the honor of re-designing his personal website to go along with it.
